Glass picture postcard. This particular piece is created with an original vintage victorian magic lantern slide. Assembled using a variety of textured and/or unusual glass. These photos would have been part of someones private collection or as reference images. I was so intruiged when I found them and love that they can continue thier life as art. Google image search told me that This boat is the Stadt Zurich. She was given the nickname of "The Devil Ship" because it is claimed that she was involved in 3 major collisions on Lake Constance. What a feisty little boat!
